Beyond The Grain: A Vocal Timbral Analysis of FKA twigs’ MELL155X — This paper presents a vocal timbral analysis of FKA twigs’ ‘I’m Your Doll’ (M3LL155X, 2015), positioned alongside a discourse of cyborg feminism. It was submitted in fulfillment of my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Cambridge.
Hyper-Space: Pitch, Spatialisation and Timbre in Boulez’s Anthèmes 2 — This paper explores physical and abstract space in Boulez’s Anthèmes 2, arguing in favour of a holistic analytical lens for understanding this kaleidoscopic work. It was completed as part of my undergraduate studies.
