A commission for the BBC Total Immersion series, these vocal-electronic miniatures imagine a haunting cybernetic future. They form part of a larger electroacoustic song cycle based on Richard Brautigan’s All Watched Over By Machines of Loving Grace.

I worked closely with peers at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama to create these three pieces for solo female voice and live electronics. I composed all sung material, generating the nonsensical text through dadaist text cut-ups of the poem.
